Eczema

Does the sight of the redness on your child's face frighten you?

What causes eczema?

Eczema is due to a hypersensitivity reaction (similar to an allergy) in the skin, which leads to long-term inflammation of the skin. Eczema is most common in infants. Many people outgrow it by early adulthood. The condition tends to run in families and people with eczema often have asthma or hay fever, too. There is often a family history of allergic conditions such as asthma, hay fever, or eczema.

Case Study

"Mary had eczema all of her life. She was now 35 and it would be a constant struggle with her hands. She had heard of our company and came to us for an entirely different reason. It was the plants and pollens that she originally came in for. But as I had mentioned eczema to her she showed me the redness on her hands that come from it. So, I began with the fatty acids and progressed to the sweeteners and finally, I found it, it was the candida (yeast and fungal overgrowth) that was causing her hands to go red. Once I cleared the candida vials, her hands magically came without the redness."
