Christmas Tips
Happy Holidays!
For December, we thought we’d give you a few basic tips for over the holidays…
-
If you’re going to be drinking make sure you take some good quality homeopathic drainage remedies or other herbal support remedies to help your liver just before you go out. Take it again when you wake up the next day. You can also fake it…get a fancy glass, some water, add a lemon or lime and they’ll think you’re drinking something special!
-
To help reduce cravings take a good quality green powder supplement (the brands you think are good, may not be!)
-
Take some good enzymes to help digest all that food you are eating. They can even help with gas and bloating!
Fill up on some healthy food before heading out, so you don’t eat as much. -
If you know you’ll be eating poorly in the evening, eat extra well the rest of the day!
If you’re looking for some last minute Christmas gifts, we may have a few ideas for you. Why not offer a gift of better health…
-
We have an abundance of Stainless Steel Klean Kanteen water bottles and we’re offering them for $7 (any size). Great for teachers, stocking stuffers.
-
We have mini Liquid Chlorophyll samplers (just under $3 each). Great for supporting your immune system and improving energy levels. Tastes great as a tea when combined with warm water.
-
We also have Wild Oil of Oregano, echinachea, alkalizing drops, pH test strips, yummy Kale Chips and even a wonderful chemical free deodorant .
-
We even have several cookbooks – developed by local nutritionists; plus our very own online cookbook.
-
We are also offering gift certificates for 25% off any of our Allergy Packages – just mention this when booking.
-
Check out The Body Care Deli for organic skin care – local in Oakville.
-
You could also combine any of these items into a gift basket!
And last but not least, we thought you might enjoy this recipe:
Christmas Squash
1 butternut squash, peeled and cubed
½ cup fresh/frozen cranberries
¼ cup chopped pecans
1 apple, chopped
1 tsp cinnamon
Put squash in a pot, sprinkle with remaining ingredients and steam with ¼ cup water until cooked, drain and serve. You can also bake in the oven!
Again, we would love to wish everyone a wonderful Holiday Season! We would also like to thank you for your business and support this year, for without you, we would not be here.
